Top 10 New Street Motorcycle Buyers Guide for 2023

Our 2023 motorcycle buyers guide features new or significantly updated street-legal models available in the U.S. So far, only a few 2023 models have been announced, mostly adventure bikes. We’ve had a chance to test several of them and have included a few 2024 teasers as well. We will continually update the guide as new models become available, so be sure to bookmark this page and check back often. Our guide is organized in alphabetical order by manufacturer and includes photos, pricing, key update info, and links to first looks and – when available – first rides, road tests of each motorcycle.

2024 Can-Am Origin

At the annual Club BRP event in August2, Can-Am unveiled its plans for two all-new, all-electric motorcycles – the Origin dual-sport and the Pulse roadster. Detailed specs won’t be provided until mid-2023 (at Can-Am’s 50th anniversary celebration), but both will be powered by BRP’s all-new, proprietary Rotax E-Power technology. This new technology is said to provide “highway-worthy speeds with plenty of horsepower and torque,” as stated by the company. The earliest you can buy either motorcycle will be mid-2024.

The Can-Am Origin has rally-style bodywork, fork guards, and spoked wheels with 21-inch front and 18-inch rear diameters – common sizes for off-road tires. The final drive is enclosed, though Can-Am reps would not reveal whether power is sent to the rear wheel via chain (commonly used on dual-sports) or belt (used on many production electric bikes).
